    Yeah lars got taken away to hospital its nothing serious apparently just strange but they carried on anyway despite being an hour late coming on, Joey filled in for most of the set but Dave did a couple of songs and lar's drum tech flemming did a faultless version of fade to black.

    Even without lars they were awesome imo, although joey did mess up on one of the songs my opinion of rob trujillo has changed having seen him live, he's no cliff burton or jason newsted but he's still a damn good bassist.

    there may well be a few pics later as i'm getting my films developed from the weekend, hopefully there'll be some good ones

    yeah man - i didnt see you knoxxeh, when i wasnt drunk i made sure to keep an eye open but didnt see you there

    metallica - well cool, the whole lars thing annoyed me, plus how they only played for 1 hour 15, when they were schedualed for 2 hours 15, but still for what they did, they did well, joey stepped up and he ruled, for not playing in the band, so obviously not practised the songs he did really well - as knox said he messed a bit up but overall it was pretty damn good

    static x cancelled goddamnit :@

    soil went out from sat as well, but they played one song - halo during the drowning pool set (which was one of the best bands i saw) they just came on in and took over while d pool watched with beers in their hands

    kept an eye open for you aswell man, there were so many people there though over such a large space that we struggled to find people even with the aid of phones.

    I wish i'd seen soil and drowning pool but after machine head played it was all a bit of a mess up as far as we were concerned because we wanted to see slayer but ended up hanging round for ages waiting for them to come on an hour later than they're rescheduled timeslot. gonna upload a few images soon as i've just got mine back from boot's all ready and developed on cd.

    Damage Plan were awesome, i'd forgotten who it was in all the confusion until the guy next to me said it was half of pantera, they finished with such an awesome version of walk it was untrue, possibly one of the best moments of the weekend other than slayer and metallica

    yeah its awesome to play, the solo's just something else though, doubt i'll ever be able to play it. To hear it live though was incredible, sorry swafeman, i know i'd be gutted if i'd missed it aswell.

    Does anyone know what the secret band was? or even if there was one?
