There were several as anyone who's seen my screename knows i am one of the survivors, was all in good fun tbh but some people took it way too seriously there were chairs and stones thrown at some points but hell it was fun while i was waiting for metallica one of the few on the bank standing up dodging bottles and throwing anything i could back.

yeah me and knox started that trend off.. we started the very first bottle fight where it was two sides fighting eachother then all hell broke loose and i got cut on the forhead.. was all good.. but as knox said it went to far.. people were getting hurt .. one girl was crying infront of us.. and no one would stop... happy to have walked out nearly unscathed really

crazy stuff ! there was the biggest bottle fight ever before metallica, they were scattered everywhere but pretty much in the middle was the worst - at one point i saw someone get a bin liner, fill it with full bottles and stand in the middle smashing people over the head with it

ive got a wickid pic (if my photos come out ok) of it, itll be a funny site i couldnt belive how many bottles were on the floor after, its like someone had dumped millions of bins full just down in the pit i dunop where they all came from !

May well have to go in search of the dvd, i'm sure i remember seeing it around somewhere, might spend my last bit of cash leftover from download on it.

I was watching the bottle fight before metallica from the bank it was huge, we ended up having a massive one up there at the same time, the opposite side to us were properly organised they all went a bit quiet for a few minutes then someone screamed "now!" and they unleashed a wave of bottles on us. Was harsh on the people tha didn't fight back though, some people were looking well p***ed.

knox there were a few rumourded secret bands but none played - i think this was because it dragged on so long, bands were taking up loads of time, and time slots were all messed up so it overan longer than expected

they were - mainly fear factory - thats what i heard of loads of people

    also

    ac/dc
    guns n roses

Yeah i heard the rumor for fear factory and ac/dc i thought they might get fear factory on sunday afternoon but like you say with all the mess ups even if there had been a secret band they may never have got chance to play.

Ah well, hopefully next years will be a bit more organised.

Parking was free iirc which'd be great if we got the camper cos we could just sleep in there. It really is a shame you couldn't find us man, we'd got loadsa food left over at the end, had to leave a load of beer aswell because i ended up to tired to do anything when we got back most nights so alot of it never got drank.

Wiffle man, i shall be in talks with him soon about it i think because thats possibly the best idea i've come up with all day
