Pity about Fox, although he is master of his own misfortune. But it was refreshing to have a more robust Minister in defence after the last few, the best of which was Robertson, who went off to be Secretary General of NATO.
After that it was downhill with 'buff' Hoon and the nonentity (jobsworth or ainsworth or something like that) that came after him.
