    O2 Issue ?

Anybody else on O2 PAYG getting 2 copies of the same text message when they are recieved today ?

Its only just started doing it this morning, and is weird as I've never seen this occur before.

Im on that PAYG where you get free SMS and GPRS if you put a £10 top-up on each month

Cheers for checking - might just be an issue with certain numbers again

Missus is on the one that you pay £10pm direct debit. She gets something like 30 free mins any network and loads free texts. It is still PAYG so there's no contract. Cant get it anymore as I think they realised too many people were going for it.

O2 at the moment are really beginning to p*ss me royally off.

I've got a p800 so you'd think I'd be able to send MMS messages ( not kinky ones to my missus you perves ) yet I have used their "over the air" configuration as well as had the settings emailed to me several times, yet when I try to send a MMS it states on the screen "user barred".

I have taken screenshots etc of this and mailed them to them, yet their extremely clever "out-sourced" call centre cannot HELP me one bit and keepn asking me to ring an 0906 number down to their totally numb staffing.

Anyone work for O2 on here ? If so please, please, please can you help me as I think I've emailed about 10 of the call centre staff and they have basically sent the same email 10 times - totally not what I expected from O2 CS really.....

Please help - I've got bald patches on the sides of my head from reading my emails to see they've resent the same 1

I had that problem with MMSs when i got my new fone/contract. I emailed them and they said they'd upgrade my tarriff (read: tick a box and charge £25 for the pleasure - which never happened, so it's ok) and now i can send them. I had downloaded the settings too and it wouldnt work, just get them to change the options on ur tarriff to let you send them.

Cheers for that Elmo - thing is I am on PAYG therefore theres nothing they can really change is there ? I might just get an orange sim card for MMS as I know they work fine as I had a contract with them for 6 years before ending it as I was spending too much money on calls

I'll go email their ever so local call centre again and see if the fraggles can actually understand my request now
