Work experience

I'm starting work experience tomorrow, for a week.

Doing it for a company called Giant Computers. Not very big, but bigger than the place I went to in year 10.

Needless to say I am a little nervous.. .. Had an interview with the boss, and it all seems great Just a little anxious as to how good I'll be! I think they're expecting more from me than the other place I went to in year 10, so it'll be interesting to see what they have me doing.

I remember when I did work experience in a local hospital. All of the junior doctors kept saying to me don't do it! Of course now I realise they were right. Yours sounds interesting though. I doubt people will tell you for god sake don't do it!

i hope its better than my whole work experience experience. The interview was a joke, the boss forgot and therefore had nothing planned for it. As for the actual work (I worked at the restaurant of a golf club) I just washed stuff up :/ Work experience to them was just cheap labour.

I'm trying! But come back here and tell me how it all went *curious* But hey just think about the fact that you know alot of stuff (I'm sure you do! Just dig inside you for a while) And if it turns out that it didn't go soo..well, then just keep chin up, go for it! The things that you don't know from the beginning you learn! And then it's just to start over And after a while you'll notice that you've made big progresses etc!

I did my work experience in the RSPCA rehoming centre. Started at 8.30am and finished at 3, but the actual work bit was from about 9am - 10.30 where we cleaned out the kennels. The first day i was a bit grossed out but it wasnt that bad, you just got on with it cos when we finished we got to spend the rest of the day grooming the animals and playing with the kittens/puppies. i also got to administer some injections to the kittens under the supervision of the head vet.

I loved my work experience and if i had the chance to i'd repeat it any day!

I remember going on work experiance when i was in year 10, now i'm 19 and working (untill i got to uni) i can see its REALLY worth while doing, gives you an idea of exactly how bloody tiering work is compared to school/college!
