    RIAA Web Site Gets Doomed..

The Web site of the Recording Industry Association of America has been down since Wednesday, most likely the victim of a variant of the Mydoom virus.

According to a statement from Netcraft, a Web site performance monitoring company, the RIAA's Web site was targeted for a distributed denial-of-service attack by the Mydoom.F virus.

    GREAT!! Click me!

"RIAA endorsed a bill written by Rep. Howard Berman, D-Calif., that would authorize copyright holders to begin "blocking, diverting or otherwise impairing" peer-to-peer networks"

music should not be about album sales or money made or whatever, it should be about rocking with the fans and doing it for the love of playing. its such a shame that music is going down the capitalist road. well, it started on that road age ago.

if war is the answer, then we are asking the wrong question

Berman's bill, co-authored with Rep. Howard Coble, R-N.C., would allow the RIAA to engage in precisely this kind of denial-of-service attack against peer-to-peer networks where illicit copies of music are traded.

Seems like it's just giving the RIAA more firepower to me
Someone left a note on a piece of cake in the fridge that said, "Do not eat!". I ate the cake and left a note saying, "Yuck, who the hell eats paper ?
