Now she's considering changing her name....
I'm not too keen on the idea, but she keeps asking me for ideas, and I'm pretty much out....

Just tell her to change her boyfriend
God knows why she wants to change her name, I like it how it is, and will try to disuade her.
I doubt she'd be happy if I told her to change her boyfriend....she likes good sex

I always thought Laura was a pretty nice name anyway - but if she feels that that's a bit pedestrian, I don't know, she could always play up the Italian side a bit; I was at a wedding recently where the bride's first names were Anna Lucia Domenica, which was pretty nice.
I said that: What's wrong with: Laura Christine Abatello.
But women.

Unfortunantly Lara is the name of an Ex-friend who tried it on with me when Laura wasn't there....suggesting that would be death. Big style.
Shame really, I could handle that one.
If it's not awkward to ask, WHY does she want to change her name? It's not as if she doesn't have a nice one to start with - I could understand it if she'd been called Ethel or Mildred, but... Seriously, if we know why she's unhappy with her current name, it might be easier to suggest alternatives with which she'd be happier.
Under the circumstances, I'd have phrased that...differently...Shame really, I could handle that one.

No offence to the guy/girl concerned and a bit off topic, but, why do people want to plaster their picture and a picture of their GF on a forum like to essentially be spread all over the internet?
Anyone else find this a bit weird?
If she wants to change her name let her, can't see what the problem is if it's something she really wants to do. I'd rather my GF change her name than contemplate going under the knife tbh.
change her name to Dave Gorman, then tell her you did it. now that would be COMEDY!
