well i could have taken mickey mouse subjects such as media studies or art...though art is entirely subjective and depends on the examiner at the time - which is primarily why i didn't do it at. you can't take a chance like that, one examiner doesn't like a piece of work you've slaved over and poof! there goes your marks. cr*p.
no, instead I chose maths, couldn't do it to save my life which is weird since I nearly got an A* for GCSE... I got an E at A-level. i put it down to a thoroughly bollox teacher. got B C in others though.

    MYTH: A-levels are everything
No they are not. I got BCE, utter cr*p I know, but now I'm happily sitting here with an MSc 5years later with two degrees from london colleges. so two fingers to who ever said they mean everything - if you have a good strength of character then that far outweighs poor marks, helps if you have a good personal statement too. hey, it worked for me!

Sorry for th confusion. I was talking about UCAS points. UCAS points are whats given to to most qualifications so that everyone from scotland and college courses etc can in theory be placed with everyone else. For example you can get UCAS points from doing ABRSM Music exams, BTECs, Scottish Highers, A levels etc...whatever really. Its so that unis can say get 300points and we will let you in, without having to fuss about what you are actually doing (it doesnt really work this way, but this is the idea...)

Points in the actual A levels:
AS is made up of 3 modules total 300. 240+ A...210+B etc...
    A2 is 6 modules, 600 points. 480+ A...etc...
So for Alevels you are completely correct.

    Hope that makes sense.
