well i could have taken mickey mouse subjects such as media studies or art...though art is entirely subjective and depends on the examiner at the time - which is primarily why i didn't do it at. you can't take a chance like that, one examiner doesn't like a piece of work you've slaved over and poof! there goes your marks. cr*p.
no, instead I chose maths, couldn't do it to save my life which is weird since I nearly got an A* for GCSE... I got an E at A-level. i put it down to a thoroughly bollox teacher. got B C in others though.

No they are not. I got BCE, utter cr*p I know, but now I'm happily sitting here with an MSc 5years later with two degrees from london colleges. so two fingers to who ever said they mean everything - if you have a good strength of character then that far outweighs poor marks, helps if you have a good personal statement too. hey, it worked for me!
