Baileys... especially when used in desserts ie http://bit.ly/ZnzpPK
You can't beat a nice bottle of tawny port. Helps if its decanted and / or been opened before.
Last year we got some sipsmith damson vodka which was really nice, so I got some more for this year. We also made some infused vodka (from a Jamie Oliver recipe I think), which turned out to be pretty lethal.
This year I also got some Somerset cider brandy to try, so I'm looking forward to giving that a go.
I'll pretty much drink anything though....
For me its Cornish Rattler/Green goblin for ciders that won't kill me, Weston's Old Rosie for one that will. Ales it has to be Doombar followed closely by Bays topsail (gotta support the local brewery ). And for anything stronger, Famous Grouse. I do like most things though in all honesty, except anything the Mrs will drink (she's the alcopop/strawberry cider type )
Ethanol.

Anything is good after a long Christmas day The stronger the better. Got me Mother coming round for Christmas lunch, so will take whatever I can get lol
Have a bottle of Balvenie Doublewood and Highland Park to see me through these mild, damp winter nights.
I thought you said that you did them a favour.
Anyway I got 4 bottles of St Emilion, 2 Latour Pinots, a couple of Fleuries, a pair of Chablis, 4 vintage shampoos, a bottle of Port I brought back from Portugal, some Bushmills Single Malt given by a friend from Ireland (and very nice), and a good bottle of Armagnac. I'll also make some mulled wine with cinnamon sticks, cloves, nutmeg, cranberries, orange and some greek brandy (all it's fit for), and a few bottles of some of St Peter's Ales. Oh and some cheap shampers for Buck's Fizz Xmas breakfast.
Merry Xmas!
I like single malt, but not a big Islay fan. Laphroaig is just too smokey for me. I like a nice Speyside, and love Old Pultney.
I am working Christmas Day this year (No family, so I volunteer). I work a 12 hour shift and can't drink for ten hours prior by company policy. This gives me a window of 7pm-9pm that I can drink!
