    Yeah right they are a bunch of jokers, they kept my last ebuyer order because my house does not have a number it’s named…. Another time they turned up and just chucked a card through my door without knocking making me travel 8 miles to pick the damn thing up… only to find that they had sent it out again to be redelivered

    anyway whats so bad about overclockers? they seem alot cheaper than the other places, advancetec is good ive bought from them before..
    Actually, overclockers aren't that cheap. Microdirect are about 10-15% cheaper on average.

    I wouldn't use either company again though, both have appalling customer service departments.

    Umm, are you talking about Overclockers or Over-Clock? The last part of that sentence (regarding second to none support) doesn't sound like Overclockers at all...

    as i said before, overclockers web site is my by school kids.... i don't know how they trade!!! but there after sales help is damn good and there forums can be useful too... but Hexus is my home!!

    Ebuyer is king. Nearly everything I order is from Ebuyer, apart from a few PSUs i bought from Scan, and a few bits from Komplett, but everything else is from Ebuyer. Ive spent over £3000 on Ebuyer in the past 2 years and never had one problem!

    www.overclockers.co.uk are rubbish.

    www.overclock.co.uk sound good, but I've never dealt with them.

    www.over-clock.co.uk have the bestest support!

    Used them twice now and altough their not the cheapest parts on the internet they have one of the best support / RMA systems I have ever used.

    In my expierence it is worth spending out more for better service (but not too high *cough*pc world*cough*

    Overclockers UK have a kind of quirky view of customer service.
    Whereas you and I might think the point of customer service is to help the customer or improve their view of the company but we'd be wrong.
    The Overclockers philosophy is to ignore the customer as much as possible hoping they go away. If this strategy fails then they offer sporadic useless suggestions on how to fix your broken product, all of which you will have tried already assuming you have an intelligence level greater than a spoon(a common spoon mind not one of those super NASA spoons)
    If you are persistently still complaining by this point then Overclockers will helpfully suggest that it's nothing to do with them and you should return the goods to the manufacturer - while this route may work it's not really the point as Overclockers should replace the goods free of charge.
    A few more weeks of showering them with emails and you might get an RMA number out of them - if you're lucky.
    Once you happily send your goods back, overclockers UK will deny ever receiving them until you produce proof of delivery.
    A few weeks later you may or may not receive a refund depending an whether someone at OCUK has been on the happy pills that day.

    one the 3 companies above.

    did the following v.recently

    1: didnt send my items for 2 weeks, because of fake stock levels
    2: then got the items wrong, when they did send
    3: then sent me products which had been opened and didnt have the screws etc
    4: used a courier that lied about delivery and didnt offer me a refund.
    5: then didnt tell me that they wernt going to stock my items I ordered EVER untill i spent a whole day trying to get through to someone in tech support


    and this isent the first time it has happened.............utter rubbish. never again
