Ok I find people on this forum the best people i met on the tinternet, i've really fckkkd up I split with mi girlfriend back in sept but i was the Dumpee as opposed to the the dumper it's her burfday tonightn ...what is my best cause of action?

Took advice sent card took me ages to try and work out what to write, left it as that, went round to mates and chilled did'nt phone her as i thought i might ( in some kind drunk and dial incident), so all as before, but no worse

TBH had a bit of a weird night on saturday went out to a club in brighton, I knew she was going to be going but was the 12 birthday party of positive sounds (the night) so would be a good one , anyway having a laugh and spotted that she was there, though thats fine no worries. Anyway as the night went on went havin a good one and stayin out of her way, i look round and she has brought her new bloke with her!.....bit shocked as I knew nothing about him and my mates who know us both had held back telling me, so was all a bit of a shock
I was a bit sad for the rest of the night but mates did explain to me that this was bound to happen in the end and at least i have got a bit of closure on it all now (hate that americanism!) and also at least the guy was'nt someone I know. I guess that i was harbouring some false hope that we might get back together, but at least now I know this is not right, but a bit of a gutting way to find out !
