Now that would be funny - not only that but their case should have like cheesy flyers lay on top advertising the local "hard house" event with DJ whoever and also Bonkers 35 in the CD drive

Whoever has a desktop like that needs to share it on remote assitance so we can all have a laugh

Hi. After six months of picking up pennies off the ground, volunteering my body for dodgy medical experiments, picking up litter aluminium cans to sell for 50p a kilo, and living on Tesco Value lard, I have saved up the grand total of £78.63 to spend on a new graphics card. Help me spend it wisely for maximum performance, because this is probably the last upgrade I'll be able to afford for my system for the next 3 years. Thanks.

And why is it that you need 6 optical drives and 20 sata drives in your pc, a shuttle can fit every piece of top spec kit in you'd like and with space to watercool it

Until you decide you need a better soundcard cos the Shuttle sound systems quite frankly don't cut it if you're recording music... then a TV card to watch some TV as you've got a 21" monitor and haven't room for a separate TV, then a second network card/WLAN card as you'd like to use your PC to share your internet connection with your laptop. Oops, out of PCI slots, and that's before we talk about SCSI/RAID cards.....

    - Soundcard you can get decent external ones now.
    - You can sell your 21" mon, and replace it with a TFT with a built-in tuner.
    - Get a router to share your net connection.
    - Some Shuttles have RAID controllers onboard.

...which leaves the PCI slot for your loverly SCSI card.....

I'm with you, those Xasers are on the whole, foul.

However they're too expensive for our average chav, who will buy a pre modded case for £15 from ebuyer.

Just a shame about the amount of cash that that lot would cost... plus I've yet to see many routers under a lot that are as configurable as smoothwall or can run imapd/tomcat. Shuttles are very nice but they come at a price premium and a lack of expansion that I can't justify given the only tangible benefit is the machine being small

Surely the heart of the chav is linked deeply with the heart of the fanboy?

"Burberry mate, it's got to be Burberry or else it's crap."

Or Adidas, or back in my day - Kappa.

The PC world may be more free from 'designer labels' on which purchasers base all their choices, but is it not quintessentially Chav to devote and base one's life on what is supposedly stylish, feeling inadequate if you do not have the 'name', and riddiculing others when they are the ones without?
No trees were harmed in the creation of this message. However, many electrons were displaced and terribly inconvenienced.

Actually, I suppose its quite Chavy to have your specs in your sig, like a Chav would wear a gold chain from Argos to show he is bling bling, we Hexites put our X800XT-PE's and Raptors in our sigs for the same reason (but most wouldn't admit it).
