The bombings of Dresden and Hamburg didn't cause people today to still suffer from mutations and various genetic disorders due to radiation exposure though did they?
Didn't the Americans firebomb parts of Japan before the lobbed 2 nukes at them?
Also, a question, did the USA provide reparations to Japan after the war like we did with Germany?
Ooops...Germany provided reparations to the allies. The Allies (principally the US) provided the former Axis countries with financial aid towards reconstruction under the Marshall Plan etc. Yes, BTW, firebombing occurred in Tokyo. One raid is estimated to have caused over 70,000 casualties (there were a lot of wood and paper buildings).
