Great cause yes, but a poor show IMO. Looks tacky and cheap. Also, disagree with these so called 'stars' giving up a few hours of their time to help those kids and thinking they're saints for doing so. They earn no respect for what they do tonight.

Maybe it is a poor show, i wouldn't know having not watched it.
I do tend to think however that it is a little bit sad to criticise children in need for not being entertaining when the people involved are performing entirely off their own back with no wages/anything etc...

so they give up a few hours to get onto prime time telly. its all publicity for them. and i can bet u that the main presenters are getting paid somewhere along the line. now i'm not trying to poo children in need for what it does or even how it does it. but so called b/c list 'celebrities' will do anything for the exposure and PR. the real ones will do all they can behind the scenes and only use there notoriaty when needed

Oh wow, they have spared a couple of hours and gained a shed load of publicity for it, whereas people devote their whole lives to help out and don't do it for the cameras!

I'm not criticising Children In Need at all, as I think it's a good cause, so please don't judge me as being sad because of what I said. I'm sure some people would agree with me... some might not.
