So much has been happening with me recently, I don't really know where to begin, so in no particular order:
Some time back, following an annual checkup my Doctor told me I was close to becoming diabetic and unless I took action I might find myself in a position where I would be reliant on medication to help me live a comfortable lifestyle. So I took action and have found that by doing so I have not only got myself off the danger list for diabetes, I have also lowered my cholesterol levels and dropped from a 40" waist size to a 34" waist size, losing around 2 stone in the process over 3 months.
Around about three months ago I left my job in channel support where I used to work on behalf of several IT vendors by training sales staff in the retail and distribution sectors on the various benefits and features of their product lines in order to increase market share through winning mind share and got into a sales role where I work longer hours but get better pay at an office based in St Albans, so not sure if that was invitation to pop round and say hi, I hope it was, I'd be keen on doing that sometime.
My daughter has a second birthday coming up on Friday but we probably won't be having a party for her till later in the month. My parents have an anniversary coming up next week too, plus my wife and I will be celebrating 14 years of marriage next week, not sure what to do to mark the occasion, gift ideas would be welcome, she doesn't read these pages.
I won't bore you with the negatives, but at the moment I have a lot of things to be happy with, a fantastic wife and three amazing kids, a new job that's bringing in more money and a budget to spend on new hardware w00t!!! and knowing that I have been able to take control of my health before it takes control of me are some of the reasons that life is good at the moment.
