Craplantis in the past, dude Before it shut down, it was pretty local.. 20 minute walk.

When I was in college, all my mates would always go there after a night out (Thurs/Fri/Sat) so I got dragged along. Mates all live elsewhere, so I walked home alone all the time.. that happened for about a year, with a bunch of instances where people were stabbed/mugged on Watersmeeting Road. Bit scary, but I was always too drunk to care.

It used to be a good night, especially on thursdays. Used to be podium dancers and all that. Lots of fun when you're hammered. Before it turned poo(nearly swore), and before the underage population of Bolton discovered how soft the bouncers were.

Well my mrs is working on new years eve and new years day so she cannot make it out with me. Our friends have invited us out to a bar named Hide which is where they went last year. Its £40 a head and for that you get food and drink all night long , shame my Mrs is working really.

Same as Xmas eve - up the local as usual. Its always packed with lots of old school buds and ye old village types, so I know im gonna have a cracking time.

went to a pub a couple of years back with a few m8,s and was literally bored to tears.

honestly i was so bored i nearly cried lol

i think i might walk the streets and take in all the revelry.

Yep me and my mates have become weary of going into town too. Its just a ripoff and usually, not _the_ best night as new years is supposed to be.

So this year, starting off early at a local pub, then walk back to house party till whatever time we like!

what......so you won't be going to see the (undoubtedly very talented) abba tribute band cardiff city council have spent your hard-earned council tax on???

as butuz said, i'll be avoiding town like the plague since it'll be virtually impossibleto get in anywhere, very expensive, full of pikeys & impossible to get a cab home. strictly local / house party for me
