I open up all the sections I read in separate tabs, then each thread in a separate tab. Means I never have to wait for the page to load.

About 85MB with 5 tabs open (standard for me) - but with a gig of RAM, I don't really worry about it. (Even with - from work - a command prompt, VS.NET, 3 explorers, enterprise manager, 3 Query Analysers, Winamp, Outlook, Remote desktop client, Computer Management, MSN Messenger, ICQ, Dreamweaver and a couple of notepads open)

Ive had mem usage infirefox upto 300mb, thats with a gb of ram. It doesnt like that much, starts to crash and get slow... but when you have THAT many forum windows open...
Thats the reson I use opera for forums, seems to be better with tabs.
Now viewing hexus through firefox cos im so slow to catch onlike ablonde almost
