All seized drugs (from a HMCE standpoint) are generally stored in secure locations (sorry gotta be tight lipped). The mad hat scientists do their bit to work out strenght etc and what it has been cut with if applicable, we attach a street value then they are either kept for criminal prosecution (evidence, bags of white powder is pretty damning stuff) or then destroyed.

Your right, all sorts walk out of evidence rooms. Illegal fur is something else that goes walkies a lot.
