Anyone work for carphone warehouse?

I have just been offered a job, and was wondering what starting salary was? I dont know whether ive been given a good deal.

might help if you say doing what, etc, as i'm sure the amount of different departments would massively affect starting salary.

THe other way to check is to go onto things like monster.co.uk and use their salary checker.

I believe the basic salary is around £12-14k pa, but you obviously earn commission on top of that (between £30-80 per day, I've heard).

im being paid minimum wage basic! and thats for a long week - 8.30 - 6pm!!

You'll either get a good commission on top of that or you are being shafted. Wages in moible phone stores for junior sales guys tend to be anything from £5 upwards. It all depends on your commisssion package/deal tho.
