This gets me everytime, us younger lot think that our parents getting it on is a little sick, but the thing is, when we are older, have kids etc etc we will still be at it and our kids will think the same. Who ever said sex gets better with age, you ain't wrong. My ex was older than me and boy did we have fun

Ditto Wildmonkey, I talk to my mum like a friend more than anything, infact so do most of my mates... A fair few of them have her on their MSN buddy list.

Infact she's probably the person I like most in my family, and everyone saying I was sick and it's disgusting that I did something like buy her that... Well i'd rather smile and laugh at things like that when the day comes I can't see her anymore than sit and think how disgusted I was that she was enjoying herself.

just for the record, it's not the fact she's "doint it" (i'm in uni ) it's the fact she had to tell me, i was fine sitting in blissful ignorance thinking they were just friends... *sigh* she had to go and spoil it. Oh well, only 6 months to go and i'll be away and they can "do it" to their hearts content

Elmo, is it TMI, or are you just annoyed that she's getting more than you?

    LOL at this thread.

Maybe she is telling you so you dont get the shock of walking in her room for a chat to the site of *censored*. At the end of the day whats worse, knowing its happening or seeing it happening! You could always buy a couple of cowboy hats like in meet the fockers

Elmo, surely if she knew you felt so strongly about it she's perhaps stop and think a bit? and maybe get with someone closer too!
my g/f's mum's b/f (!) isn't the most easy person to get along with, i think the classic comment from my g/f to him was "you must find it incredibly hard to stand up, without a spine!". yes he is a bit of a wimp but I understand how difficult it can be now when its a parent's partner, you want them to be happy yet at the same time with someone who's better for them.
you could get sinister and play dirty tricks if this guy is really that bad, like say he 'touched' you (and all the rest of it ew!)...but then it gets a bit nasty so may only be the tactic when stuck for all other options

hmmm kids hav no right to meddle in their parents happiness even if they dont like the partner. All the kids should do is sit back and be supportive if asked/or required in time.

shiato that has to be one of the most vindictive nasty pieces of advice i have ever seen someone give, and tbh im shocked someone would suggest that a person should stoop to that level
