Hammer is probably the most well known tool, and red is probably the most thought of colour when asked to name one off the top of your head.

I very much doubt it would have anything to do with the calculations though, they are just to free your mind of anything to do with colours and tools so you think of them off the top of your head and give a more realistic answer.

And yes, I said red hammer too...

There is another one somewhere that had "name a country that begins with "D"". Most people would pick Denmark. There were about 3 other questions in that "test", and as the end it gave you a little sentence about your answers, something like:
