Yes I know and that's how you teach them, when that dog was bitten I bet for the first time the dog realised 'hey being bitten is not very nice'

Now that dog has had his first lesson in 'right & wrong'

PS – I don’t condone cruelty to animals but, fight fire with fire.

You can kick a donkey or a horse

You can bite and scratch a cat

You can bite and slobber on a dog

You can hiss and spit at a swan

    And sooooooooo on.

Err, no, you can't do any of those... Except maybe slobber over a dog, but if were doing that, I'd suggest a trip to the doctor.

Animals attack humans normally through fear or just plain primal instinct. They don't know any better. They don't know it's wrong. You can train a dog not to bite you, but biting them is against the animal protection act or whatever it's called. Besides, it must have tasted pretty rank.

So it's fair to kick a dumb animal that you probably did something to in the first place to make it kick you? Even on the dumbest of level it isn't fair because the horse could kick you a hell of a lot harder than you could kick back.

Man vs horse... I'm trying to picture it
Some animals are just naturally bad-tempered, but I doubt the guide dog did anything to deserve that.

the guide dog could well have played a nasty trick on the owner, maybe he took him across a busy motorway just for a laugh or something and the owner had to make a stand? who knows!

animals learn by something called behaviorism, whereby if something happens that has an adverse repercussion, the animal learns to avoid the first circumstnace - this is how you train dogs - give them a biscuit when they sit if you say 'sit' and they learn to do it, even without the biscuit. therefore, if you kick a horse each time it kicks you, it will learn not to kick you..

Tank, please tell me you're kidding... You can't just go round kicking and biting animals as you wish, even if they kicked or bit you. It's immoral! Let alone it's probably against the law, and if not, the RSPCA would certainly come down hard on you for it!

5lab, I'd love to see you trying to teach a horse not to kick you with a few cracked ribs and a couple of broken legs!

A horse can kick harder and a horse is definately faster. I personally think you're either crazy or you're taking the piss...
