    British justice triumphs again!

Stalin shall not prosper in our green and pleasant land!

    Ban the whale!

Meat is murder! (but fish is justifiable homicide)

    And other utterly meaningless things.

Having never been to court, for any reason, I'd assume it was a pretty slick run thing.

In, charged, bit of an argument with long words, some utter nob in a wig \ pinstripe suit \ glasses from pre-WWII (which he probably refers to as ‘spectacles’, so not to offend any womenfolk that may be present), makes a decision based on what he has been arsed to listen to, and everyone’s home in time for News At 10.

You walked in, held a bible for a bit, waited for someone to work out why you were there, when it became clear that you, nor anyone else had the slightest clue, you pleaded that it had all gone Pete Tong, the geezer in the chair accepts this plea, and you had it away on your toes.

    Justice!

I thought it was sufficient, to describe the events of that day, in a manner both clear and concise, without being unnecessarily detailed and involved.

My aim was to inform, without blinding with science, and to that end, I think my summing up was a complete success.

I did spend a while deciding between 'its all gone Pete Tong' and 'its all gone tits up', but then realised that 'tits up' is hardly the language to be using in a court of law.

Similar thing happened to me the other month.

Piece of paper arrives telling me that I was parked illegally in London on the 6 December.

Right reg number and everything. Shame I wasn't in London that day.

Bigger shame was that I didn't pick the car up until the 23rd December. Plus the fact that when I did pick the car up and it only had 6 miles on the clock (and got it from Banbury), the cops couldn't really say much
