    Well at my company we charge £100 per HTML static page and also £50 - £100 for hosting. This is to everyday people and they pay it as well. Even if it is half that your still saving him money.

    What program are you going to use? (Oh and what do people think of NetObjects Fusion MX and is it better than Macromedia Dreamweaver MX 2004?).

    Edit: Had a look at NetObjects, doesn't look nearly as good as Dreamweaver.

    I would say £300 for a basic site or do it in exchange for 10/20 driving lessons....depending on duration.

    But if your going to charge him for a proper job, make sure you deliver. (not saying you wont)
