We're still listening to the stones/beatles/metallica/acdc/iron maiden decades after they appeared and they are still more mainstream than motzart now so in 200 years people will still be listening to them.

Thats because there are still people alive that remember them playing live and grew up with them. Give it a couple of generations and they'll drop right off the musical radar.

You may be right with them as some of their songs get used in music classes at schools. Though I'm of the opinion that they're a bit overated in some respects. Yes they had a big effect on music in the 60's and wrote some classic songs. But they also wrote a lot of dross
