I went in 2002 and I gotta says its the best festival by far, not to sure if I will bother getting tickets this year though the line up is kind of crap. Kylie is playing the main stage

Sometimes I think Glastonbury has sold out a little. How much were the tickets this year? When I went in 98 they were about £80, they were £110 last year I think? Going to glastonbury is now the equivalent of a family holiday abroad, the cost of tickets, the cost of getting there and the paying through the nose once inside the compund.

Not only that but they sell the damned tickets before they've even announced the line up... so once you've parted with your cash, received your non-refundable / exchangable ticket, you get to find out Kylie is playing the main stage

You can cancel them before a certain date.

I think it's gone up because of health and saftey, i.e having to put that fence up and hiring extra security e.t.c Still worth every penny

I assumed from their statement that they weren't keeping a cancellation list that it was non refundable.

Personally I don't think it's worth every penny. Like I say, it's becoming far too expensive, probably why there's so many snobby, rich brats that frequent it.

I kinda treat Glasto like the yearly holiday now anyway! We set up on the Wednesday and dont leave till the Monday so we get our £££ worth.
