reading the terms of service is a big turn off.. probably won't be going with them, seems quite unsecure.

Just what about hosting? I'm going to order:

Deluxe hosting (Windows server) $9.95 a month
Dedicated hosting IP:$2.95
Domain: $8.95 a year.

Everything seems ok really.. budget-hosting.co.uk is ****ed if you read there terms and services.. anyways, i'm gona go with godaddy, unless somebody has some comments they would like to make.. any will do

I use dataflame.co.uk, its only 40 quid a year for hosting and domains are dead cheap as well.

well i get my domain at go daddy, and got there hosting package.. so i just try out a news system and i get:

file, mail, opendir, readdir, closedir() has been disabled for security reasons

talk about been restrictive i knew i should of got the cheaper package because i dont even need 100gb bandwidth and 2gb storage right now. AHH. well it was only a fiver for 1 month..

The only restrictions on mine is file type restrictions, 35MB of webspace and non-localuserhosts aren't allowed access to the database. It's £30 for 2 years with unlimited bandwith and a .co.uk domain name. That's the cheapest package though, there's one for £80 for 2 years with no file type restrictions and loads more features.

ok. i got myself a .org name.. cost like £4.80 (ish) for the whole year! .
but the storage.. pfft. i know the guy who owns budget-hosting.co.uk we've talked through it all and everything, pretty good, and he was pretty cool about everything, and he hosts loads of other sites i know of too so its pretty useful, im gona get that next month.. if anybody wants a bit of space to host something PM me.. i have tons of storage space and bandwidth for the whole month..
