Elmo - Why add to the frenzy? Simply put, when at high resolutions you can't just go download a 1024x768 wp and then 'apply' it, you'll be staring at nice big pixels - eww no?

So, I repeat, for people that want a one stop spot for very (note: I said very) high res wps, they can grab a few from here.

XA04 - You have to live @ high resolutions to understand how HARD it is to find decent wallpapers.

Even though there may not be that many people that live above 1600x this thread will allow them to easily grab a decent wallpaper.

...And oh, XA04, I'm not sure if you were taking the micky of this thread or were being plain 'squirrel food' - enlarging it gives nice big pixels...

TBH, I'm shocked that such a simple title as 'Post your wallpaper, min width XX' can create so many issues with people just posting like drones with out even reading what the thread is about.

    This is The End:

i understand the high res thing then, i understand that, for high res users that would be a hard search to be quite honest..
and the squirrel thing was a sarcastic joke, no harm intended

I think the creator of this piece used a font which wasn't complete. Notice the 't's are shifted by a large gap...I doubt it is intentional? Would like a completed copy of that font as well, very nice.

    Still like it

I think the font's apostrophe character is missing - the t at the end of 'perfect' is fine.
Nice idea, bsodmike. Even though I'm a "lowly" 1280x960 user (I'd love higher, but I'm not rich enough. ), I already find it difficult to find nicely-sized wallpapers that are within my anime genre of choice (If the avatar isn't hint enough, Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex. )

Aha, GIT:SAC...I have vol1 n' 2 and not watched it yet LOL, need to shoot my self. I'm currently hooked on Bleach, Champloo, One Piece, Naruto (who isn't) and a couple others...

But ya, the problem I find with wallpapers in general is that people think a) I have to plaster it with text or b) stick my frigging name on it...

I guess it is fair when you are the creator, but tbh I hate that about 'those' wallpapers...so I tend to hunt for pure images at high res and crop/edit them as I need.

The problem is that not many people use high res displays or the ones that do just put up with something lame, so we have a tough time

Shame the wallpapers are meant to be widescreen - I have 2048x1536

But have to enlarge my good 1600x1200 pictures to fit screen

could someone alter the portman picture for me

    I'm using aresolution of 1560x1024

I'd like the image to be a little more centered to the right so her head is not split so much across the dual monitors.
    It is Inevitable.....

Having just started using a widescreen display, some of these wallpapers are stunning!

Thanks for the Nemo one, I have that as my wallpaper right now, it's awesome!
