why are so many people having problems with the premise of widescreen?!

Those arent widescreen they are dual/triple monitor...

and. there all one big file, you can streach down, you can crop, in fact, their widescreen, as they have no joins or anything that prevents flawless display on a widscreen monitor. (not to mention the width been well above 1920).
