Come on ppl JOIN UD and put your CPU to good use.

This is a kind of plea in order to get more people to join up the heXus.net dstributed computing team, I am guessing quite a few people hardly read the DC forum so I have got permission to post this here as well to try and get some more people to sign up.

What is distributed computing I hear you ask?

Its basically lending some of your spare CPU cycles to help in mass processing problems like finding cures for cancer or the search for ET. It does not cost a thing to join and you are joining millions of people already taking part in this process.

The heXus.net team are currently using the UD client which can be downloaded from

You can see our league table and the members that currently use UD by clicking on the link below

    http://www.grid.org/services/teams/t...5-88762326378B

If you have any questions about this I am sure the following link will answer them or post a message here

    http://www.grid.org/about/gs/index.htm

We currently have about 49 members and I know loads of you have fantastic machines that you leave on 24/7 so why not put them to some good use

Come on people make a difference they have already had some fantastic results back as a result of the the thousands of years worth of CPU cycles that have been donated.

Doesn't matter what team you're in really, as long as you fold!

I've been folding for a while now, have over 210 units done nearly 18k points.

Just one quick question, if you don't complete a task does it still have any use? or is it when your system restarts is all the information lost?
You've got to have a dream, if you don't have a dream, how you gonna have a dream come true?
