Walk it ? Nobodies voted yet have they apart from from postal ballots

Here, from the vote it seems labour arnt doing too good.... and another forum (With 700 votes) Labour are behind conservative and the cons, might make for an interesting election.

Im fed up of Tony if Im honest, but then again, as you said look what the tories did last time, and the lib debs, would they even know what they were doing?

Tony Blair is the best dressed out of the three party leaders so I'm voting Labour.

you have to think though that most of the people that use the forums are young, and 700 people are nothing compared to the millions in the UK. It is impossible to get a clear picture unless you look at the country as a whole which the Ugov and other polls have done.

We could always get all the hexus members to stand as independents in the next general election. Can you imagine David at 10 Downing Street

back? income tax never went away. the lib dem tax plan is a new tax band at 100,000pa (i.e. everything over 100,000 a year is taxed at 50% rather than 40% currently), and to replace the flat-rate council tax with a local low-rate income tax (so those on low incomes pay less councilish-tax).

it's been said, by labour's chief spin doctors

now, honestly dear, you believe labour (and their spin doctors at that) to give the unadulterated truth?

I'll vote Labour in the National Elections and BNP in the locals....

BNP will most likely gain a fair few local seats I would say but Labour will win overall, this way Tony will think "Jesus, WTF are we doing thats so wrong that people are voting for such a right wing party as the BNP" and then do something about it, if he doesnt then hes clearly not in touch with the people and will go next election...

That was my point on paperwork, they have too much and unless we do something about it, nothing will change. And I'm afraid that if * Tony stays in then nothing will change

    * I mean this in a self delusional kind of way, if he believes something to be true then obviously it is true irrespective of the evidence. This being linked to the fact that he is a compulsive liar, both to us and to himself. He aso has this wierd delusion that everything would fall apart without him. It's probably not quite a god complex, but he's on his way there

Finally, believe me if the tories get in, you will be laughing..... with joy, because this country has moved forward. Rather than stagnated and fallen back as it has under Blair.

I fail to see how we'd be 'going forward' under tory rule. So do my parents who are both 50+ and been voting for 30 odd years.

In terms of local elections I hope that our labour MP will stay elected, as he has done wonders for our actual community, much to the dismay of the farmers who all vote conservative cos' our last conservative MP was in cahoots with them.
For nationals, as much as I'd prefer a country with the ideals/policies of the libdems, it's just not going to happen this time round. So I'd also prefer to be run by labour. I don't agree with ANY of the tory's plans/promises. Namely cos they sound ridicilous and even bigger lies than what labour tell.

But meh, I miss out on the vote by a month

It's funny hearing the millions and millions or people say they won't vote libdem because they "won't get in this time". If everyone who said that voted libdem they would have a huge number of seats this time 'round.
To err is human. To really foul things up ... you need a computer.

Not neccesarily, voting libdem in my constituency will only benefit the conservatives at present.
