    However, we can quote back and forth all day, but at the end of the day the truth of the matter is as follows;

    Labour - Centralised "we know best" all controlling, ever growing Government
    Liberals - Clueless idiots who want into Europe to ensure British politics stay left of centre
    Conservatives - Freedom of the individual linked to acceptance of responsibility for ones actions

    All the rest of the talk / posturing is just chaff.

    Me - I'll stick with being a free individual, as no matter which party is in power they're not clever enough to work out what is best for everybody.

    Auran has hit the nail on the head.

    Btw that Mirror front page just goes to show 1. How crap the Mirror is and 2. What the sort of people are that buy it - brain dead. Daily Mail's not much better either.

    Certainly not, your argument doesn't hold up. It's far too simplistic

    and neither does yours and thats because its damn near impossible to argue the pros and cons of party police in less than several pages of text thats why i "simplified" it.

    "scrap John Prescott's depeartment"

    scrap the deputy prime minister, okay i supose it could be done but its there for a reason, mainly if for some unspeakable reason the prime minister i dont know steps down or is killed but an angry rampaging bull there is some one there to take over incase this every occurs. for the record i for one would love to see tony fleeing from a rampaging bull if only for the comic value such an image holds

    "ever heard of inefficiency and waste, something this government excels at"

    yes i have an goverment is inefficant and wasteful by its nature unless you cut it down to one person there is going to be waste. even if the torries plan does work theres going to inefficence even the damn germans the most efficant people in the world could not make goverments efficant without completely rebuilding the stucture of how it works,

    "Cut police paperwork"

    im all for this put in the world today were if you look at a person the wrong way your sued im sure that paperwork is necessary to prevent the people that are there busting the arses every week to keep people safe from being sued for neglegence or what ever else some sleazeball of a lawyer can make stick

    "Maggie did it"

    the immortal phrase ever torry says maggie did it, yes maggie did a helva lot of things some good like the one you mentioned and some terrible awful things that still scar the economy today. she may have done the right thing in closing the pits and desroying heavy industry in this country but the way she went about it was wrong if your going to create immense unemployment the least you can do is create more jobs in the place

    all this aside you can say what the hell you want im done flame away it wont make any differece as come 1am tomorrow we will know the answer one or te other
