    Jobseekers Allowance....

For help when seeking a job - not everyone claiming JSA is a scounger, you don't know the individual circumstances, and until you do, refrain from making insulting statements.

I claimed JSA when I came home from Uni, I had a half decent degree and I still found it really hard to find a job, JSA covered the CC minumum payments etc while I was looking for work.

Back on the subject though, it doesn't smell right at all, for a start, the money comes from completely different budgets, so the only way you'd have missing payments is if they couldn't process your claim for some reason. (eg, strike action, computer failure, etc)

    EDS - Ever Decreasing Service.

I worked for a company that shall remain nameless who had EDS as their "IT partner". I was asked to produce a database for all the work my group were doing. So started up Access only to be told that I couldn't use it cos EDS didn't support that program.

Well, I went there earlier and the manager didn't have a clue what I was on about so it must have been someone winding me up :@ Someone must have spent ages getting the letter looking formal, that's for sure.

As for getting a job, I live in the middle of no where, where there is a real lack of jobs, even factory work here is not easy to find. I have cannabis phycosis which gets worse when Im around other people so I do what I can to stay at home.

I was on incapacity benifit and can have a sicknote off the doctor for as long as I want so even if a job turns up and they make me apply for it, I simply will be getting off jsa, saying my phycosis has got a lot worse, and re-claiming incapacity benifit with income support.

The second part almost makes it sound like you have no plans to work again...

People are saying "stop being so lazy and get a job" then you try and defend yourself by saying it's all brought on by yourself smoking too much of an illegal substance and claim you'll simply get a job and then lie to stop working again?? What a joke!
