    The London Guitar Show

Did any fellow HEXites go to this? If so, you may have seen me on the Mango Amplification stand

It was a really good show, first time i'd been. Great to see so many different types and ages of people sharing their love for guitars.

Good, how many 12 year olds tried playing 7 nation army on your demo rig? thats assuming you had one, personally I wouldn't let a real valve amp anywhere near the general public

Hehe but people are there for the love of guitars and you can see it in their faces.

I handed the Tele to a roughly 10 year old girl who started reeling off Ash songs like a mini charlotte heatherly as i stood there with gaping mouth, had a 13 year old playin the les paul custom better than 90% of adults that were in the show. I had no problem with letting real valve amps loose on real guitar players

Speaking of ash, wandered into the VIP lounge for a (free!) beer on the saturday and who were sitting down munching on a pizza but Ash themselves Lo tim, lo charlotte hows things? Wanna try an amp? Pity they had to munch and go.
