ms wheelmouse optical at work
3 yr old Logi Dual Optical. It's old, it's worn out, the pads have been long gone and the sensor has a 'wobble' every now and then where the cursor meanders over the screen until i give the mouse a shake
What can anyone reccomend as a small, light replacement for a right hander who doesn't want too many buttons? (MX510 etc?)
Some compaq crap that came along with my PC.

At work I just have the bog standard HP optical two button + wheel that came with my desktop. It works fine. At home I'm pretty sure I have the original Intellimouse Optical Explorer, it has the two buttons on the side that do forward and back in IE/Firefox. I've had it about 4 years and I like it, although the right button is getting a bit knackered from hours of playing Tribes 2.
Ditto. MX1000 is the best i have ever used bar none.Originally Posted by Gordy

I suppose if you have used them for ages they are fine, but I think they are like marmite - you either love 'em or hate 'em
