Feel sorry for the guys and gals in Trafalgar halls... had quite a few friends on the affected floors last year... was in James Watson myself last year...

Ah it was ok, in my opinion it was a fun day for me. I may have had only two items of clothing but we sure had some fun. Especially when the overalls came out, we made a little team and went walking around town in them. Free food, drink, money, clothes. Wasn't that bad

Id prefer to have had the day doing coursework personally... lucky freshers dont get that much of it (im presuming your a fresher)

Does explain the questions to myself that i had about the number of white vans and the red tape around the building when i went past on my way home from the union some time during the day...

PS be glad it didnt happen in the middle of exam weeks that wouldve been a nightmare!
