Blimey and to think I went off to play games after 40 mins thinking the Reds were stuffed. Amazed after 60 mins it was 3-3.

I tell you though I've seen 9 year olds take better penalties than AC Milan

Hopefully Benitez will build a team around Gerrard and Carragher and get rid of the dross in the summer.

Not too bad a season for a Gooner who likes to see good football. Chelski win League, Arsenal win FA cup and Liverpool win European cup. Glazer gets MUFC

My take on it is that both the FA and UEFA have confirmed that Everton will be in next seasons competition. Any rule change would invovle having Everton and Liverpool in, giving England 5 teams.

There is no danger of us losing our place now, as its been comfirmed 100%. I hope Liverpool do get in, as a champion should always be able to defend their title.

^ Yes, Everton are in for definite (the BBC said they were any way) and its only fair to be honest. England will have to be allowed 5 teams. Liverpool have a right to defend their title. It wouldnt be fair if they didnt get that chance. They will probably (i hope) dump one of the crappy teams from a poor country that usually comes bottom in the group stages in favour of Liverpool.

I just thought of something else, UEFA might say that Liverpool now own the cup and their defence for the new cup is irrelevant since they haven’t won that cup and cannot defend it, could this happen?
