If I had a lady I would like to pay for things. I spose its a bit of a two way street, but still I spose I woudl end up paying for more.

Hmmm... as a gentleman, I'd say I'd pay for everything unless she INSISTS on paying for something...
HOWEVER....
IN this 'equality' climate... she can pay her way as much as I do... 50/50 all the way... If there's no difference between men and women in the workplace (which I whole-heartedly agree with (except in certain physically demanding jobs)) then we can have some equality in the leisure area too...
Pay yer way love, then at least I'll some cash left in me pocket when I go home with the boys still ensconced in the rocket lounge.
