Was your weekend a good one?

Ahh well mine was a seriously cool weekend, not in heat, hell no, I sat outside for 11 hours on Sunday, sore knees, sweating like I was in somewhere illegal all in the name of noise.

    Green Day noise.

Yup, last night I was at the Bowl in milton Keynes and I have to say it was a seriously seriously excellent gig, I mean there were a few things I was missing, namely the F1, but, with the cryptic texts messages from HEXUS head honcho I got the drift that i didn't miss a single thing. All round excellent way to round off the weekend, just a shame it took three hours to get out of the car park, sitting on a road in milton Keynes at 3 am on a Monday morning was not pleasant. Collapsing asleep within second of walking into the hotel room was though.

So what did you do, what marked out your weekend?

Started off bad with Jack (my cat) puncturing his eye - and having to dash to the vets, he had another checkup today. He is a little pain sometimes

Anyway on Saturday it was even more hectic - left my house to head over to MK. Turned out to be a nice and enjoyable one for sure, one problem I had was finding coffee at midnight in MK - even SmartNav could not help me. I visted some of the lakes in MK, and was pretty impressed - was nice to just have some chill out times, and check out the sights of MK.

Headed back home at around 3am, after spending crazy amounts of time trying to find coffee, it was still really warm when I got home - but no where near the temps during the day. Was good day though. Bit warm But worth heading out-n-about.

Shocking number of police cars around that night - couldn't quite believe it, guess it was the Green Day concert emptying.

Sunday I spent the day in the Garden, had a massive BBQ, a few drinks, and chilled out and watched the GP and exchanged texts with my Project manager about the race

on friday stayed at the inlaws house cos they'd gone away for the weekend

Saturday was my 21st, had brekky in bed then had a BBQ in the park with friends. Sat night went to Wendyhouse in leeds uni union and had a wicked time mucho dancing and prancing, loved it!

Sunday felt slightly worse for wear, as you would expect the morning after one's 21st had a bacon butty and sat in the sun for a while till the inlaws came home, opened cards, visited bf's grandparents, then went home for pizza.

A great weekend had to end eventually tho when i came back to glasgow today

    FAB weekend tho

Saturday I was on traffic watch to make sure you lot with your Green Day Noise weren't going to block the road into my house. (Chrysler grand voyager and 6m of caravan is a force to contend with)

Then sat in the rest of the day, listening to said green day noise and enjoying the music and fireworks.... did you know you lot sound like high speed trains when you cheer?! (next time you go, let me know, and i'll show you the shortcut routes out of the city)

Sunday, family bbq, my family meeting my new cousin... nice weather... until the storms broke.
    people went home.
Utility room flooded, and upstairs window was open in the same place as an overflowing gutter... All hands on deck and a lot of towels and dustpans later... crisis averted. the skip outside looked like it was going to float down the road.

came home, waited for concert to end... fireworks etc... was sort of dissappointed that it didn't rain on them all, coz i find that really funny! No tow trucks either, even though they're warned not to park on my estate (both sides of the road, dad had real trouble getting down the road) Yes, fire engines would just use brute force in a situation like that, so be warned.

Last night, i stayed up too late, woke up too many times coz it was too hot.

Then i started work this morning again

    Busy weekend, but good

Mine was fairly chilled out... Saturday started off well with some review code dropping through the door involving wrestling... with a superb mode where you play as chicks and have to rip each others clothes off... even the missus found that part fun!

The rest of Saturday was spent catching up on donig allt he jobs I wasn't here to do in the last few weeks and we finished off witha barbie in the evening.

Sunday was just as chilled, except the eldest invited her friends round for a 'pool and sprinkler' party which she somehow forgot to tell us about...

So we had a nicely chilled Sunday, a stroll down by the canal watching the long boats go throught he locks and the fish popping up to gobble the odd fly before finishing the day off with another barbie and then a few beers.

Had my hair done sat morning, hairdresser decided to unleash my curls! Spent the day doing lunch and chilling out in Campbell Park (could hear Greenday too!) then wining and dining in the evening. Went for some lovely walks near the MK lakes.
Was really craving tea at Midnight though, why aren't there any late night coffee houses ?

Spent Sunday being hot and bothered!

So how many of you guys were at the Greenday concert this weekend? I didnt realise it would be so popular! Kinda wish I'd got tickets now, apparently it was one of the best audiences they've ever had.

Terrible weekend. I ran out of medication, haven't slept since Saturday morning, grandfather's been in hospital for the last couple of weeks and deteriorated on Sunday, the GP was poor, ran out of ketchup. Also found out that Aria don't do onsite warranty for Digimate products. I.E. I took my broken LCD in on Saturday, guy tells me to ring a number.

However, the best thing that did happen was the thunder storm on Sunday. Made a miserable day that little bit cooler and better.

Friday Night - Helped mate DJ in Manchester, got absolutely drunk outta my face on Cheeky Vimto's and then got in at 4 am to make cheese and pickles on toast

Saturday - Had no sleep and went to work. Sat at work doing a lot of internal things and went home @ 4 pm. Had a brief nap @ 6 till 8 and then had a few friends round. Sat in Garden as it was that warm, and ended up sat in the Garden till 6am with the Isotope on the garden table playing a few old games.

Sunday - Woke @ dinner and went to see the parents. Came home, ate and ate again and then watched the 4400 DVD ( This show is AWESOME - cracking twists and turns in the plots and gripping storylines ) and played Dawn of War till about 1am.
