    Wooohooo - I have a new job!

Excellent - just talked to my recruiter - I've been offered a job at Sony as a Technical Analyst for their Broadcast business - it's a company I've always wanted to work for - and now I've got a 6-month rolling contract!

Unfortunately it means a 3 hour daily commute, but frankly - it could be worse (I was offered a job in Milton Keynes doing Exchange server migration this morning - paying quite a bit more - but it's milton keynes for an insurance company. Which is cooler? And better on my CV?)

    Teee heee Sony!

A 3 hour commute? Also, how much to hook me up with a top spec vaio? You know you can just forget to take it from down the front of your jumper on the way out

good point - but living in london and working in basingstoke is better than the other way around
besides - I'll be out of the country for most of the time anyway - do you think I'll be able to talk them into an alienware laptop? (for CAD work obviously )

Nice one! MK isn't all that bad though! (nor is a 1.5 hour commute, been there done that before!)

I just found me a good opportunity too... CV is being scrutinised by everyone as we speak before I send it off
