Who knows of any good cheap hotels in the center of dublin?

My mum's always visiting there and usually stays outside because the public transport (DART) is apparently excellent.

You could always try http://www.laterooms.com/ however.

edit: on second thoughts, they're not really that cheap :-S

doesnt have to be really, but ideally, as we dont wanna stumble a long way.

We stayed in a small hostel type place called Barnacles, right in Temple Bar... Not sure how expensive it was (everything there is ) but it was cerainly the cheapest we could find in town - very very basic, but it was comfy to sleep in.

€78.00 €156.00 for a double ensuite, which is almost as much as some of the 4*'s ive been checking out.
