Just when you thought you could rest from Crazy Frog.... I got this email from Tradedoubler.

London, 9 August 2005: It is not so long ago that the world went "crazy" over the vocal stylings of Jamster's "Crazy Frog" making it the biggest selling ringtone in history.
After teaming up with Axel F to create the surprise hit single of the year, it seemed for a while that the success of the Frog would never end. The furore has diminished a little but now the next mobile phenomenon is on the way, thanks to another of our European neighbours, 9 year old Joy from Germany.

Joy has teamed up with her Aunt to create this cute chart topping crocodile, Schnappi, that even managed to knock Robbie Williams from top spot in Germany. Joy sings the song and her voice boasts an irresistible charm that has captured hearts and minds across Europe. It is of little surprise that Jamster! have "snapped" up the opportunity to provide the song to mobile phones in the UK.

The song features as a mono, poly, realtone and video ringtone. After the chart success in Germany and indeed the success of the Crazy Frog, Jamster! is hoping that this rambunctious reptile can reproduce chart success here in the UK. The song will be released as a single on the 22nd August by Universal Records.

The crazy song was played on Tim Westwoods Radio 1 show live from Magaluf. Some hip hop newcomers have adapted it and made it in to a Black Eyed Peas / Outkast type of song.
