Their logo could be bright pink for all I care, as long as it's got better support for web standards, tabbed browser, enhanced sercurity, etc.

jinkies, wasn't this thread about the icon, rather than the browser (and no browser is perfect, middle button on xml in firefox anyone?)

My views, i really couldn't give a wet slap about the icon, but its nice to see it fit in with something other than the office style (its more XP than office now, office with the coloured squares that came from the jigsaw bits)

I chose 'no preference' as to be quite honest I couldn't care what there logo consisted of!.. As I don't use the program, and don't intend on doing so either.. They are obviously trying to be all 'modern' and 'new-age' by changing there logo, but it still doesn't make there software any better!

well it looks alot gayer than the old one

they tarted it up with gold and now it just looks tacky and camp

i do not like it...go back to the blue

then again i dont really care what the logo for a web browser is, or its name

The current IE 7 logo looks awsome, its very highly detailed, metallic blue, and looks very modern. This one just looks terrible
