Do you feel the need to validate yourself by being with someone else, do u find u fall for people easily....?

I usually leave it a good while from one relationship to the next, this time it didnt quite work but I'm happy n thats all that counts...

I know someone that has been in different relationships for best part of 13 years, 5 different GF's and only a week tops of being single between them. This person just couldn't deal with being single.

I've just got into a relationship after 5 years of being single, and i'm probably the reverse of the thread.

Only had two girlfriends here.

First one really confused me and I broke up with her.

2nd one, went out with, then she went back to her ex, then we went out again, then I dumped her after I found out she'd been lying to me about having broken up with her ex.

Hahaha women are like monkey's you dont know how right you are.

I have seen some monkey docu on tv about this group of monkeys. the usual thing
of hierarchy. The female monkeys like the aggressive posturing male monkey/s and of
course gets to knob the ladies. But when someone from some other monkey clan comes
a long the women like to secretly get knobbed by them. Something to do with getting
new genes into the gene pool..

It reminded me a lot of school. especially as when a new lad came all the 'high ranking' girls would want to go out with them one after the other.

Not all girls do it! I've only gone from one relationship to the next in a short space of time once. I've only had 3 bfs (still with the 3rd! a year and 10 months later!)! And it's not ONLY girls who do it. My ex bf describes himself as a "serial monogomist" He doesnt ACTUALLY cheat, but he gets so far with the flirting till he knows he's on to a sure thing then ditches the one he's with and goes off with the next. Yes i got sucked in, but you know what young love is like! i'll never be THAT stupid again!

I was single for <counts> 5 years, then went from one GF to the next in the space of two weeks. I'm still married to the second GF after nearly two years, we've been together just over three.

TBH I don't think how a person conducts themselves in relationships has anything to do with their sex. Men and Women have exactly the same urges, and how they act on them depends entirely on their personality.

TBH I don't think how a person conducts themselves in relationships has anything to do with their sex. Men and Women have exactly the same urges, and how they act on them depends entirely on their personality.

I'm inclined to agree with Rave, I know a few blokes who couldn't stand the idea of one night stands, they say it's just not their thing, they want stability and relationships much like some of my female friends.

I once used to believe the same thing, to be in a stable relationship was more valuable. However once I split up with my ex I went off the rails and decided that if everyone else can have a little fun I figure it's ok to, so long as I'm careful about it and everyone knows the score that there is nothing more in it. If this makes me a slag so be it. I don't think I'm a monkey tho!

Edit: and as a girl I have to say yes we can be evil.

Oooooh looks like I'm in the right place.... I'm a Monkey and a bit of a man-tart really

Usually on a Friday, Saturday and the odd Sunday you can find me at the local pub or more than likely clubbling and chatting to various members of the opposite sex

In the past I've had the old relationship that lasted 2,3 hell even 4 years but I got paroled and I am now enjoying myself, hell... my confidence is even coming back now as I can flirt like the rest of them now whereas this time last year I couldn't be bothered even going out

Ohhh well - must dash as I have to decide which shirt to wear tonight... or do I revert to the tried and trusted "I haven't got a girlfriend...." t-shirt. The amount of girls that asked if they could come and watch some was quite funny actually.
