    Quite significant reduction in appetite...

Hey people, been a while since I've cos of moving house etc.

About a month and a half ago I started doing 100 sit ups (along with 100 press ups for about 4 moths now) and I have noticed quite a significant reduction in my previously ungodly appetite, I came to my own conclusion that it was the abdominal muscles contracting / firming up.

I mean don't get me wrong, I'm not fat or anything, I'm 6"1 and 11.5 stone but I only posted this here because I want a second opinion of why I may be having this sudden loss of appetite as I miss the ability shovel 3 - 4 servings of meat balls and spaghetti with ease to a pitiful 1/2 - 1 bowl.

I only do the exercises to compensate for the comparitively low levels of exercise I do, if this is the price of being healthy and strong, I'll be jiggered...

Maybe your body is processing the food much quicker due to your increased metabolism which means there's less food in your stomach more often which in turn would cause your stomach to shrink and henceforth cause you to have a smaller appetite?

Thats what I thought but, I mean I can go for hours and hours on end with just a lovely cup of hot chocolate and a muffin and when I eventually do get hungry I'm shocked to find I'm no way as hungry as I think I am...

Sounds about right if you've gone from no exercise to this - you will notice reduced appetite.
Nowt to complain about - you're now officially cheaper to run
