Rave speaks sense.
Cheers. I must admit that the 'renting a house' vs. 'renting money' argument is one that I only 'got' myself very recently after reading a book about crashes- it makes sense when you think about it but it runs counter to everything we've got used to over the last few years.
Hi Nick,
Funnilly enough I have just put some info regarding my house that is up for sale that has options for shared ownership. We currently own 75% of ours and it has worked really well for us as the rent on the remainder is a lot less than the mortgage would be and has allowed us to get used to paying for a mortgage without jumping in at the deep end. Have a look at my post as there is a link for plumlife who built the apartments and have load of info on their site.

If you want to know anything specific though let me know.
