91 point something when I filled up at the weekend (in Glasgow).
When I lived in the States (California, about 4 years ago), there was uproar when the price was heading towards $1 a gallon
yep same over in the west...went down to 95p at one stage...Morrisons in Taunton even dared to hit 85p for unleaded. That soon changed as quick as the wind did. Back up to 97 on average...all the local petrol stations are 99.9 - they dare not go higher i'm sure. Seems odd that after a petrol fake crisis, seems it was just a government pun to increase tax. Why doesn't someone knock ten bells into the taxman for this? Its not like we're getting taxed too little anyway, and petrol is the one thing that keeps the economy moving.
Sorry to double up - that or it has something to do with the Labour Schmabour wanting pay rises till 2010Originally Posted by javalord
