Avast! for me..usually seems to get its fair share of the votes round these parts (similar thread here..)
NOD32 is supposed to be the best anti virus, Kaspersky for me is the best net security package.

best free = AVAST! or avira
best = NOD32 or Kaperspy

I rather love avast! (even better that its free). However, I might give NOD32 a try sometime when I wave the wampum to spare.
I think I'll take a look at NOD32 also
What's the success-rate difference between NOD32 and avast! anyways? That alone might convince me to upgrade. I wonder how much NOD is...

Kaspersky is interesting...
One of my friends has it, and it questions an awful lot... combined with Vista, which questions everything, it makes for a lot of pop up screens.
Might be his settings though... I didn't check them. Am betting they are all on extreme or whatnot.
Kids are getting smarter, eventually no amount of parental controls will be able to stop themI guess we're expected to do quite well
