One of the pubs round here, The Unicorn, does a unicorn design in the head, which I thought was fun

The nice people at Guinness sent us a couple of beer mats in the week stating that all brewing would now be done at St James Gate and shipped over here.

yep thats already happend they have stopped brewing the factory in the UK (cant remeber where it is) and now all your guinness is the real thing

my empty can of guinnes original still sitting on my desk informs me that its "Brewed in Ireland by Guinnes & Co."

yup yup, an advert on tv a while ago, saying ALL guiness is now brewed in Ireland, and that they check each pub in ireland once a month to make sure you get pure guinessy goodness

imho its not that bad, just takes about 5 minutes to settle, which is like torture if your just gagging for a pint

yes we do.. but over here it's known as "PLaying with you beer" and thus is frowned upon in polite circles

Theyre only brewing it all in dublin now because brewing in London was more expensive, but theyre trying to make it look as if its "coming home"

Sales are declining apparently, so they can probably fulfil all demand from the one brewery.

It's good for avoiding the 'warm guiness dreg' syndrome in stuff pubs.

Oh, and the UK distrobution centre was in park royal, was it brewed in that general ealing (spelling) area?

If you want very cold cans at home, put them in your freezer, don't serve me something over the bar that just gives me bellyache. If you ask me, it's an excuse to continue the trend of ridiculous pump designs.
