    The Annoiance of Fireworks...

    Now then

When u was a kid [or a wee 1] u used to be either scared do death from them chancing if 1 flew up your nose

    OR

you really loved them because you was hypnotised by the all the pretty colours....

but nowadays you've got total morons [preffably teens/yobs] letting them off because of the fun of it......

and it has come to my attention that they are classed as annoying.... and also cause a massive safety for yourself....

i remember 1 time last year- in a roughed up area called Kirkholt in Rochdale[AKA Kirky]
some right Chavs started throwing fireworks aroudn the stree while they was lit, also one nearly came through a house front window..

TBH - i recokn they should be banned, only council displays are allwoed to show firework shows...

a 28 yo man in cardiff is having to have his face 'reconstructed'! after trying to clear off some mongs who were throwing fireworks and golfballs into peoples gardens, he was hit in the face with a can of larger...

thing is, i dont think things are gonna change, not for the better anyway.

Tottally agree with you there. It seems to be getting worse and worse every year, although in Scarborough if you stick in the right area's your usually ok. Feel sorry for the people living in the 'danger' areas though.

Council displays should be the only legal event, it would save many peoples lives and stop people been injured. I know it's fun to buy some and let them off in your back yard, but these chavs just need to be shot dead and pissed on.

I completely agree - fireworks should not be available in the shops. You are after all, handing out colourful explosives to untrained people. Its insane, especially with the power of them these days.
The other problem is the volume. Firework displays used to be able pretty patterns and lights, and some loud-ish bangs. Now they are all about how many heart-attacks and burst ear drums they can cause - its mad.
Last year, we left a local fireworks display because it was so damn loud it was upsetting my daughter, who normally loves fireworks.

Jarhedz mostly. To be honest, I sux0r, but I really enjoy the team play, and the immersive feeling in the game. I'm still trying to get used to DoD:Source, after playing DoD. its a different game I think.

Try keep on topic guys .

This is a quite serious topic though, even if it has been discussed before.

I have recently started a petition online to change the laws on distribution of fireworks. I don't think they should be banned all together but the age limit should be raised and they should not go on sale before the 1st of November as I am sick and tired of 3 weeks banging until god knows when in the morning before the 5th November.
If you are interested in signing the petition, please follow the link. You can leave a comment aswell if you like.
    Thanks
